This project involves the design of two high-rise residential towers in London, Ontario, developed in partnership with a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) to address the critical shortage of affordable housing in the region. Each tower will provide over 350 units of housing geared toward residents on a fixed income, helping to address a waitlist of thousands of people in need of safe, quality accommodation.
The design philosophy centers on providing essential amenities in a thoughtful and robust way, ensuring residents feel genuinely safe, comfortable, and at home. Goodplace Design is preparing the full Zoning By-law Amendment application package to support City approval, with the project currently in the design phase.
